New Way to Win a Lowrance HDS-12 Gen2 Touch

Tulsa, Okla. – Lowrance, a world-leading brand in fishing electronics since 1957 — announced today additional prizes to be given away as part of the Insight Genesis® College Cup. Sponsored by Lowrance and GoFree, the Insight Genesis College Cup gives eligible college anglers the ability to win free Lowrance marine electronics. Each month, Lowrance HDS Gen2 Touch fishfinder/chartplotter displays are awarded to anglers who capture and upload the most acres of sonar recordings to the online Insight Genesis map-making tool. In addition, the Grand Prize winner gets an all expenses-paid trip to the 2016 Bassmaster Classic or FLW Forrest Wood Cup, where the winner will represent Lowrance as an honorary Pro-Staffer.

The new Map & Win! portion of this competition gives all registered anglers who participate in the Bassmaster College Series or FLW College Fishing Series another chance to win an HDS-12 Gen2 Touch by following three steps:

  1. Competitors must record at least 100 acres of the tournament waters
  2. The Lowrance sonar recordings must be uploaded to the Insight Genesis website prior to the tournament start
  3. The competitor must win the Bassmaster or FLW college tournament for the lake on which the recording was submitted

Full eligibility details are available at the Insight Genesis College Cup website, www.collegecup.us. Insight Genesis and Lowrance support college anglers by providing the tools needed for success. All Insight Genesis College Cup participants receive a one-year Insight Genesis premium subscription, valued at $99; free training from company personnel; and an opportunity to outfit their college team boats with Lowrance electronics. In addition to the chance of winning great prizes, competitors who submit sonar recordings and use the Insight Genesis map-making tool are more likely to locate key fish-holding areas that other maps simply won’t reveal, which can be an advantage for quickly finding fish during a tournament. A GoFree cloud-enabled software service exclusive to the Navico family of brands of Lowrance, Simrad and B&G, Insight Genesis is an easy-to-use tool that allows boaters to open a free account, upload sonar recordings on a chartplotter display, and download up-to-date, personalized contour maps.
